For the time
being, there are no plans for any new camps at Wolwedans.
It was decided that while the opportunity for development
was huge, we would cap tourism development, and have
committed to allowing 1000 hectares of nature for every
bed at Wolwedans. To maintain growth, the time has come
to scout for opportunities outside of the Reserve.
So in 2007 Wolwedans, which also has a firm commitment
towards education and training, proudly founded nice,
the Namibian Institute of Culinary Education situated
in Windhoek.
The institute trains young, aspiring Chefs who aim to
polish their skills and further their own careers in
the hospitality industry. The results of this ‘living
classroom’ are clearly refelected in the nice
restaurant and bar, Windhoeks new contemporary social
hub.
If you do find yourself in Windhoek, please do visit
us at nice. You’ll find culinary elegance and
great interiors combine to evoke an atmosphere that
is unparalleled in Namibia’s capital. |
